About the artwork

The wolf's face dominates the image. Charcoal handling drives the surface, with blended midtones around the muzzle and forehead set against crisp strokes that separate the fur at the cheeks, ears, and chest. The title Forbidden Wolf | Charcoal Wildlife Portrait fits what is visible, and a few bright highlights around the eyes and nose keep the animal sharply legible against the dark sheet. The palette stays almost entirely in black, gray, and white, while faint circular marks in the background and a few leaf shapes at the lower left break the solid darkness. This is a frontal wildlife portrait, close cropped and steady, with the eyes fixed forward and the head held level, which gives the animal a controlled and slightly severe presence. And the placement is strict and centered, so the image reads best where it has breathing room and a plain wall behind it. It is wrong for a playful kids_room or a small bathroom where the dark field would feel heavy.
