Golden Horizon Voyage | Painting Decor

A dramatic mood settles in through the black ground and the flare of red, gold, and blue around the bird. The subject is a stylized peacock shown in profile, with a long neck, a small crest, and one lifted wing that takes over the right half of the painting. Its body is compact and patterned, while the wing stretches upward in a sweep of pale gold edged with cool blue and marked by a row of red accents. The palette stays intense. Deep black sits under burnt orange, ember red, and flashes of yellow, so the lighter feathers read almost like metal catching a hard beam. Brushwork looks layered and slightly dry in places, with scraped highlights and thin linear strokes building the feather barbs across the wing, and the background shifts in cloudy patches that keep the surface active without crowding the bird. And this piece will sit best where it has some breathing room, since the dark field and bright wing need distance from nearby visual clutter. The surface appears matte with visible paint texture.
